Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy can be vital in the rehabilitation of a patient after a change in condition, such as a surgery or recovery from an injury. Often Physical Therapy is used to improve a patient’s ability to return to functional status in the home or to maintain a patient’s ability to remain functional in the home. Personal-Touch Home Care’s Physical Therapists are a vital part of the “care team” when physical rehabilitation is necessary. Highly trained, professional therapists work alongside our Skilled Nursing team, and with your physician, to assess the individual rehabilitative needs and develop a “plan of care” that can be delivered in the safety and convenience of home. Personal-Touch Home Care Physical Therapists work with:
- Post-surgical conditions like hip and knee replacements
- Diseases such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis
- Events such as a stroke, heart attack, or fractures after a trauma
We were referred to them by the VA. It has been an absolute pleasure…the person assigned to my dad is a great fit…caring, compassionate, thoughtful and most importantly, pays attention to my dad’s needs.
