Home Health Aides & Other Aide Services
Personal-Touch Home Care offers varying Aide services based on individual needs. From simple Homemaker tasks to more complex Home Health Aide services, we have the Aide that is right for you and/or your loved one.
Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, Homemakers, and Companion Aides are all non-clinical services provided under the direction of the care plan developed by a clinician. Aide services are designed to assist those who have difficulty performing daily tasks and/or caring for themselves in their home. This can include people recovering from surgery, those with chronic illnesses, or those with physical or cognitive challenges.
- Depending on the level of services required in the care plan, our Aides provide basic help with things like:
- Housekeeping, including laundry, washing dishes, vacuuming, linen changes, and dusting
- Transportation for running errands and appointments
- Grocery shopping
- Bathing and dressing
- Meal preparation and meal planning with nutrition in mind
- Visits for purposes of companionship, which may include emotional support, reading to the patient, and taking walks
- Schedule an appointment
- Monitoring medication
Higher-licensed Home Health Aides can also provide medical-related assistance with things like:
- Checking vital signs
- Help with braces and artificial limbs
- Changing bandages and dressings
- Assistance with medical equipment
We were referred to them by the VA. It has been an absolute pleasure…the person assigned to my dad is a great fit…caring, compassionate, thoughtful and most importantly, pays attention to my dad’s needs.
